Overlooking Seal Harbor

Enjoyed some solitude this morning on the terrace of the former Eyrie estate, a giant 100 room mansion that was taken down by the Rockefellers in the 1960s because they didn't want it anymore. 

Ah well. As they say, "like the tides of the harbor, the manors of gentry come and go."
