Today is our Christmas Day having spent time with various other family members.

I was out foraging early, the butchers were shut so it had to be supermarket meat but at least it was organic.

Back home I had fun in the kitchen producing a slow roast a pork loin with fennel and white wine sauce, roast potatoes, maple glazed carrots and a space for the cauliflower cheese we had made on boxing day.

RF arrived with Murphy and Willis and we had time to open presents before eating. Murphy is getting into opening presents and is pictured playing with his.

We've had a great day so far, now back in front of the fire having taken the boys for a walk around wet and windy Stockbridge.
