Putting your neck on the line

Or biting off more than you can chew! That is the problem for Mr Bluetit. We are very hard on these wee fella's, certainly we give them food at Hanging Tree Restaurant, but they have to stick there neck into a cage to get it. We give them nuts, but they have to do acrobatics to get a morsel. We give them seeds and Sunflower seeds, but they have to put there heads into spiral containers to get them. All because, if we didn't, the big bad Crows, Pigeons and Seagulls would bully them and pinch the lot. So lets hear it for the small songbirds and garden birds of the world who have to be brave to get their food out of our contraptions. But we do love the little birds, so they trust us to give them food and that is what makes it all worthwhile. Happy Sunday!
