Walking past the old shops all being demolished on St John's Rd.

This links in to 10th Oct Blip as the Corstorphine Youth Community Centre moved from the fire damaged building & had settled here for a while before having to move again with closure of all the shops & them being demolished.

Corstorphine Community Centre is currently in the old council building in Kirk Loan. There wasn't enough funding to rebuild the fire damaged Community Halls.

The shops frontage is standing but doesn't look very stable so hope for no windy days before the final removal.

I've not seen the update of what's replacing this as there was a campaign to prevent Waitross from doing this exact demolish & rebuild & change of the road layout.

Picked up Thee Steak Pie for New Year, not much of a queue at the butchers which was really good.

Spending the evening worrying about a wee black spaniel that shot past me on the pavement across a junction near this building site. No time to catch it, hope the owner finds it before it gets hurt.
