Christmas Gromit!

Wallace and Gromit are Ardman productions animations originating in Bristol so perhaps not surprising to find a Christmassy Gromit in one of the shops in the Mall at Cribbs Causeway, just out of Bristol.

Grace and the family were going to a friend’s birthday in Clevedon. The original plan was that we would go to enjoy the seaside and the pier in this lovely little town but the weather was definitely not conducive this morning.

After they left we decided to go to Cribbs. We knew it would be horrendously busy but we managed to park easily and get a few things we wanted from key shops. What we couldn’t get was coffee, everywhere was queued out.

As we were near we went to Portishead as we’ve never been and John’s brother is building a house there. We didn’t stop as  it came on to rain even heavier.

We saw signs for Starbucks at Gordano serivices so that’s where we went for a coffee before returning home for a late lunch!

The family returned soon after dark and Jude wanted to watch the Smeds and the Smoos, her new favourite.

Boppa was in the middle of watching a film so John put it on his iPad for her. She loves sitting with bear so she was very happy.
