Happy Christmas Everybody!

Christmas day is truly a great day to travel, we made it down to mum and dad's in record time with very little traffic on the motorway.  Only hitch was getting stuck behind a couple trying to figure out the coffee machine in the gargae of the service station.
"Do you want tea or coffee?"
"It's a coffee machine, does it do tea?"
"Yes, you get some hot water and there's some tea bags there"
"So I'm paying for hot water?!"
"Well, yes and a tea bag, that's what you're always paying for when you get a cup of tea"
"Oh okay"
"Do you want tea or coffee?"
"I don't know"
etc.

Other than that, had a lovely day catching up with mum and dad a brief visit with M and S and baby D who has grown up lots in the last three months since we saw him and is now walking about and finding his words.  Then a late christmas dinner and in bed for 10pm.  Good day.

Penguins are a Christmas pressie from M and A, they're actually wheat bags but it feels a bit sinister to put them in the microwave. The one of the left has had a bit too much Christmas cheers.
