Sunshine in a Flower . . .

. . .  or is it a bumble bee clock and the time is ten to three.  My great niece, husband and three delightful children came to visit and have lunch.  They are staying at the Tahuna Motor Camp.  They had considered not coming with my sister, her grandma, being ill but decided to come and we all agree life has to go on.  It was relaxing to sit on the deck and chat about family matters and get their perspective  on how the family dynamics are working out.  The children amused themselves with a combination of their toys and my collection of my children's toys.  I was delighted children can still do imaginative play and not have to have a screen.
After that none of us could be bothered going out for a swim.  I took this sunflower pic and caught up with everyone on blip.  Lovely daughter is reading and the forester has walked to town to get pasta so we can use up some Christmas ham and make Pappardelle for dinner.
