The Gleaming Coat...

...of a Starling, on the move this morning in the gleaming sunshine (while it lasted). 

When I first came to learning about garden birds and their names, and saw this one, I thought it was exotic because of its magnificent colours and gleam in the sunshine. Regardless, I'm glad to say it regularly visits, even if sometimes it makes sure you know its there ;-)
