Gin & Spa Break

The A1 closed in front of us as we headed northbound for a cheeky Gin & Spa’ break to celebrate my birthday tomorrow and break our journey. I had to read the map book as sat nav was confused’ A scenic diversion around the Leeds ring road and to Skipton and beyond ensued and so the gin fizz on our delayed arrival to Appleby was much needed! The spa was a lovely treat and now I’m looking forward to dinner and my last night of being 50!
