A Snowy Day
The Current Mrs Creel makes her way home through the plantings; to a log fire and her jigsaw. The wind had fairly dropped overnight. Terpsichoreans are at fever pitch before Thursday’s Dance Party – starts at 10.00hrs and goes on all day. I have requested the Muckleburn; the devil made me do it.
Since I was seventeen, I’ve been trying to push forward with James Joyce’ ‘Useless’. By page 462 I thought Blazes Boylan would have fully engaged with the Blooms. But no. I hope this hasn’t spoiled things. Maybe I should stick to my 1950s street map of Brechin.
Another problem is that I notice there’s some plasticene on page 14 of my Mr. Pastry Annual. South Utsire, falling slowly.
