Escaping from the room

Half a degree under last night, which was a surprise. Once we'd got over that it's rained lightly ever since - not a great day for going out for a family walk. 

In the absence of anything more exciting to Blip I opted for a through-the-window picture of these collared doves on the 'sitting-room side' bird table, but every time I moved, even to raise the camera, they flew off and didn't come back for several minutes. I eventually took some fifteen pictures which I whittled down and down and was finally left with this one. They seem to be our resident pair - we never see pigeons in our garden.

This afternoon we're going to play the 'Deceit' game - 'An Escape Room in an Envelope'. It's apparently a one-off game, so after having played it, and presumably having escaped, then we'll give it to somebody else to play!
