Wind

Farm. Another travelling day. Crossed over from the west coast to the east. The old main road through the Manawatu gorge is permanently closed due to slips. The replacement road is not due to open until 2024 so we took the Saddle Road instead. This passes by the Te Apiti wind farm. Due to the topography and siting of the turbines sometimes the blades are at or below the road level. Wider view in extras.
