Merry Christmas

The children woke us up in great excitement at 7:40. I think Isaac would have happily slept for another couple of hours as he has started with a nasty cold. But he soon rallied with lots of fun on offer to distract him.

During presents I sent a WhatsApp to our plumber who lives a few doors up. Bless his heart, he came straight round and sorted us out. Having spent a lot of time plumbing, we then swung into action to get ready for special guests and festivities. It was a relief to be able to host with only a gentle trickle in the background (one could get used to the relaxing sound of a water feature).
