Walk to Ipanema

Some Aptis marking, then we walked along the front of Copacabana and onto the front of Ipanema. We stopped at the renovated Arp at Arpoador and then walked on to what we call, 'the place on the park, aka Botaquim Itahy. The first time we went there was, we think, in 2003, when we lived in Sao Paulo. We got a nice welcome from the waitress we've known since she was pregnant with her son 13 years ago.  Back home and watched Taxi Driver, first time for both of us, and not difficult to see why it's a classic.  A little Yatzee playing and a drink at Típicamente, up the top of our street later on.  Cloudy again today, but very warm.  Pic is in Copacabana.
