Scarborough Boxing Day

Each year on Boxing Day hordes of people turn out to watch a charity football match on the beach, this is a tradition that’s been going on for over 150 years (this event was to raise money for widows and the children of fishermen lost at sea).

There’s also a raft race then much drinking in the local pubs.

We watched the going’s on from afar. I liked this shot me taking a photo of a man taking a photo.
