Christmas greetings

Right on cue, the flowers on my Christmas cactus are just beginning to open.
We have had an enjoyable, if quiet day. We went for a short walk from our house this  morning, while it was dry. We started our  Christmas dinner about 2pm, watched  the King's speech at 3pm, and afterwards had our pudding. 
During  the day we have spoken to both my sisters on the phone (one is in Cornwall and the other in Australia), which was especially nice for my Mother.
 I do hope fellow blippers have had  an equally peaceful and enjoyable Christmas day.
