When .....

it all becomes too much ....  she was smiling again a few minutes later.  We went round to the for 11 a.m for an hour or so then back home with a little break before tackling our own cooking.  Bought a ready to cook turkey crown from Waitrose but didn't realise it was sous vide cooked .... followed the directions but it was in a rather anaemic vacuum pack and it seems I put it in the tray the wrong way up so the skin was on the bottom leaving nothing to protect the top .... which dried out and burnt before following the next set of instructions to pour over the glaze for another 10 minutes .... was a bit of a disaster as it was more like shredded duck that you get in pancakes .... never mind.
