It’s hot

Summer has arrived. Mid 30s today and the hydrangeas are crisp. Otherwise the garden is holding up well.

I love Boxing Day. After the excitement of the big day it is nice to relax. We visited Bryan and family and had a lovely few hours with the children. After we came home James returned safely to Sydney and we had a nap and left overs for tea. 

I’ve washed the sheets and will remake the bed for Cathy and family who are coming up this week. In the hot weather it only took half an hour for the sheets to dry. Nina and family return from their cruise tomorrow so Christmas isn’t quite over yet in our house.
