.... in full flight! Aren't they just so special!?

I can't believe how long last I really looked up to the sky to look for birds! I was really not too enthusiastic when I started looking for a blip for the day, took a few snaps of the berries in the big tree by Charmaine's bedroom window, turned around to look for something else in the garden, when they caught my eye, high up in the sky, flying over my head. I turned the camera up and got only 2 shots before they disappeared. The other one is actually a bit better, but I only got 2 of them into that shot, Lillan helped me to decide on this one, showing 5 of them!

Hope all the lovely moms in the world had a great Mother's Day today! Mine was so lovely, very relaxing, Ronnie treated us to a tasty braai (bbq), the steak, boerewors and chicken sosaties were braaied to perfection, we had salads with it and they had a lovely cheese and onion garlic bread, which I am not allowed because of the gluten.

I was in tears, verrrry early this morning, reading Charmaine's touching Mothers Day message to me, my dear daughter, who is mother, not only to her son, but to me as well, especially the past 8 months! I became more and more dependant on her during my long sickness! Thank God for the privilege to stay with her! I truly hope to be able to do something special for her one day as well! Thank you Charmaine, you are a real pillar of strength!
