Festivus for the Rest of Us

My Dear Princess and Dear Fellow,

Jefe and Manda are also big fans of Seinfeld and so got joking with Caro that we would be celebrating Festivus today. 

There was talk of erecting an aluminium pole and then having "The Airing of the Grievances" and "The Feats of Strength".

And naturally we watched the Festivus episode. This was after a big Festivus dinner of roast lamb, while sitting outside in the garden. Manda also brought not one but TWO desserts and Jefe served up vodka and tonics. 

We also exchanged Festivus gifts. I gave them a Dominion expansion pack because they love that game* and they returned the favour by gifting me a board game called Secret Hitler.

I'm not sure what Jefe and Manda are trying to tell me here. 

A most convivial evening was had, culminating in watching Glass Onion and then wobbling off to bed at 2am.

I know. We are pretty rock and roll. 

Fortunately, we skipped the Airing of the Grievances. And there were no Feats of Strength either. Just two desserts, a lot of cats and a LOT of drinks.

p.s. I finally finished the Mariah Carey video. It's not great but the best I could do given that I didn't know what I was doing. And I'm sure you'll agree that Fazzy is an absolute star.
