Cranberry Pecan Pie

Jon and I had a very relaxed day. We watched the 2019 version of A Christmas Carol which we really did enjoy, the messages were a little different and a little more contemporary I thought.  Had to watch the Celtics and one other basketball game in between.  We did even get a short walk done and though it was rather chilly, the sun was shining and all was well. Gave us a little less guilt when it came to our all day nibbles.

We planned to have just appetizers and shrimp etouffe for our "meal", all in small portions with good variety.  Artichoke heart and cheese tarts, bacon wrapped scallops, caramelized onion and feta tarts, fresh crab dip and meatballs with a delicious sweet and tangy sauce.  The etouffe came out quite tasty too and then desert - one of my favorites for Christmas.
