Christmas Day

Alf came into our room at 7.30! Even though he’s 20 I think he still gets quite excited about Christmas. The children opened their presents downstairs, the first year they haven’t opened their stockings in our room. We FaceTimed the family and opened a bottle of champagne. D cooked a magnificent lunch. 3 of us napped after lunch then Alf made espresso martinis and we played a few games then got the cheese, ham and turkey out. A few more games and we’re going to sit down and watch a film.
