Concertina by candle light

Yes, still no power. We've heard they are concentrating on the areas first with the most outages. We are a tiny blip ( no pun intended) and just must wait. Sigh.
But it's been a great day with sweet presents and a yummy dinner cooked on the stove top. Poached rabbit with lemon, garlic and wine and sauteed brussel sprouts and sweet potatoes. Not an extravagant meal but very satisfying.
The hardest part is the transition  from daylight to dusk but once the candles are lit and my headlamp on it becomes okay.
We also tend to things that don't happen as often with the lights on like Dan practicing his concertina.
We are safe and warm and luckier than some folks that is for sure.
