The Family!

L’s excitement got the better of her at 2:20am when she first git up and found that Father Christmas had been. She came into bed with me and we eventually managed a few more hours of sleep before the big day started. I do love watching L’s anticipation of the presents combined with the joy of finding out what is inside.

We had a lovely morning at home, with L opening we presents and N’s mum on Skype from up north. We headed to my parents’ at midday for lunch and all the festivities that go along with it. A really lovely day.

One of our between courses activities today was to draw ourselves onto a peg doll... I ended up with the smallest of the dolls! Here is my whole family!
