Christmas fun

We had a wonderful day today. A beautiful church service followed by fun in the kitchen where Penni and I cooked the Christmas meal, which we had to admit was delicious. Opening gifts took time as we were spoilt by Penni giving us gifts from her travels to interesting places.
A long video call with the Canadian family with the granddaughters excitedly showing us their gifts. And we had a laugh comparing our gardens, ours with lush green grass and colourful flowers and theirs white with snow.
Feeling tired tonight... and sad as tomorrow we say farewell to Penni. Hopefully she'll get home safely to NYC with the bad weather they're having.
Coda had a good day, with lots of treats and she loves her new toy.
