Loo Roll

I managed a bit of a long lie this morning.  BB and I were going to meet friends for breakfast but not until 10:30, which seemed very civilised.  I couldn’t believe it when we were being seated, they said there were no eggs!  We rarely go out for breakfast but have done so twice in the past week and both times, no eggs!  Never mind the boys had pancakes, bacon and maple syrup and we had rolls – with no eggs!  We had a lovely catch up for a couple of hours, reminiscing about the teens when they were wee – embarrassing them!!
 
We parted company, with plans to meet up in the new year.  BB was hungry again, so we went and got some lunch and took it home to TT.  After lunch, I did some chores, TT was doing some clearing out.  I then went for a walk around the block to get some fresh air to clear my bunged up head. 
 
Later we three got ourselves ready to go out and meet up with friends for a meal.  It was another lovely evening and I reflected on how much socialising we have done this past month or so, compared to the past two to three years!  I feel I have eaten my way through December!
 
This arrived today – hopefully it’s not my Christmas present!
