A wintry forest. I took a walk outside with my Pentax DSLR today. It felt really good to get out and just take a lot of photos. The forest has a healing effect on me, and did make my head better, but not my body.
Tomorrow the temperatures will rise again, so I guess the snow will be gone in a day or two. The snow on trees and branches will melt, and that was what I mostly wanted to catch. 
I had planned to go and see my family today, but my body just said NO! So, a rest day. 
I did have a lot of fun yesterday... chasing the little boy around the apartment with him shouting You can't catch me! Running around tables and out to the kitchen and back again. I did catch him, several times, and he giggled and laughed and rushed off again. Sometimes I feel that this has more value than a Christmas gift gone slightly wrong. He wasn't happy about the hat I knitted. Who knows, it might change. His little sister, though, didn't want to let Peppa Pig out of her sight. :)
Hopefully my body will co-operate tomorrow and I can see them again. :)
