The moment

My picture was taken just about the moment that Síofra realised she was off the leash. We'd been experimenting with a long leash for some time and just over two months after getting our nervy, panicky rescue dog who was scared to come in the back door, and bolted at everything, we were so delighted to see her haring up and down the almost deserted beach like a lunatic. A Christmas present for all three of us.
