Day 1
We left before sunrise and cycled as fast as we could to Valkenburg to make the blip of today. The prospect of going well outside our comfort zone for a few days made us excited. Bert had done his best to include different roads than the ones I already know in the route. He knows I like that.
We arrived at the hotel at three o'clock. Time enough to enjoy the bathtub en rest enough for our trip tomorrow.
