Joy to the World

....and Heaven and Nature sang!

Of course, Nature sings to me every day!  We had a fabulous Christmas eve sunset as well as the birds came out of hiding to feast. There were so many others, chickadees, titmouse, I think Junco, a blue jay, sparrows and wrens.  Too fast for me to get photos of all of them!   

 The Three Amigos male deer have been coming into the yard most days as well as some others.  I think the other newborns this year are girls except for this one with the little nubs showing.  The other deer with horns are probably from last year.   So happy that we are still seeing a small herd around here.    

Heading over to Brett's house today as he wants to learn how to make pierogis so I said yeah as it is time consuming work.   He also has a pasta maker so we are hoping we can get it to work for a flat noodle that we can make as a triangle to fold over.   It might not work but it sure would be easier than rolling out the dough and cutting countless times.

Still cold here but we are getting above freezing and the wind has died down.  Thank goodness!
