on Christmas Day in the morning ......

..... we spotted this tree growing through the roof of a building.

Then to Dan and Varnika's house for Christmas brunch with them and some of their friends.  Presents were exchanged, games played and a few drinks consumed.

Back to the hotel for an afternoon nap before heading out tonight for Christmas dinner at their local music bar.  

The owner always puts on a roast dinner on Sunday evenings - it's really caught on with the locals as well as the ex-pats.  Tonight it's roast turkey with all the trimmings, and nut roast as a vegetarian alternative.  

After the meal there's dancing and live music from Varnika.  Can't be bad.
