Profile Pics

After Soc Cafe this afternoon (where we discussed whether the Scottish character might be different if we had a warmer climate and whether everyone had a price), G and I had a bit of a photoshoot round at her flat. The idea was to see if we could create some different portraits to suit different social media sites. Not quite the same as actors' headshots, and subtly different for the different audiences and the different physical restrictions that are imposed by the site layouts. One fundamental difference from theatrical headshots is that the conventional actor's headshot is portrait-shaped (in the classic 10x8 ratio) whereas most social media sites seem to ask for square images. We had fun taking the pictures and came up with a few different options for Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. Hopefully it's clear which is which! G isn't a blipper so she doesn't need a profile picture for Blipfoto!
