Merry Christmas …

… to all the wonderful people in the world of Blip, and to your families.  Wishing you a lovely day of family fun and feasting, and the obligatory afternoon snooze.  Enjoy!

MrMacD and I enjoyed a relaxing morning, then dropped a small gift to the nurse who kept an eye on Mum in the serviced apartment where she lived for the past few months.  We then drove to the hospital with cards and gifts for the nurses and doctors who provided such compassionate and loving care to Mum over the last 18 days of her life.  They were amazing.

We returned home just in time to walk down to St Heliers for lunch at La Vista.  It was nice to be amongst happy people, in our favourite restaurant, looking across to our favourite view in St Heliers.  We drank a toast to Mum and remembered the times we’d brought her to La Vista.  Lunch was delicious and we definitely needed a snooze when we got back home.

The main blip is our Christmas card this year.  The extra shows the Grand Princess coming into port this morning; and the view from La Vista.  It was actually a much sunnier day than the photos indicate.
