Walk in Jesmond Dene

We took a break from Christmas preparations this afternoon for a walk in Jesmond Dene along with Sons 2&3 plus partner/fiancee. Apart from a delicious hot chocolate with cream & marshmallows at the take-away cafe (Yummy!) we enjoyed seeing the waterfall in full flow after the recent rain (when the conditions are drier, only the central part flows).

We also popped into Pets' Corner (see the extra) where one of the goats enjoyed a rub from one of our sons - you can almost imagine it saying, "Oooh, lovely! You've hit just the right spot!").
