Sophie & The Traditional Christmas Cake Photo

Tess, Chris & I enjoyed a well-supported Christmas Eve Park Run this morning then came back to do some more food preparation.

The family arrived at lunchtime, in time for Sophie to help Tess decorate the Christmas Cake, which has become a tradition. She’s looking very pleased with the outcome.

We’ve played a few board games, had a walk to admire some of the lights on the houses in the village and had an easy Thai meal, courtesy of M&S.

Sophie has laid out the stockings (or sacks!) by the fire and left out some cake and a can of coke for Santa and some oats for the reindeer and has just gone off to bed, very excited.
