Christmas Eve
Ann walked the long way into town this morning, I met her on the bridge having walked the shorter way, by the riverside. We went over to Sangers Deli for a coffee. Most coffee shops, plus most of the town, was very crowded, no doubt last minute shopping, Sangers was very quiet. Unfortunately though they are closing until into the New Year from tomorrow.
So we had a nice cup of coffee and strolled back via High Street. We were going to buy bread and potatoes but decided against it, we can manage until the shops reopen, and tomorrow we're not cooking.
Emma came round with Raffy after lunch and they went off with Ann to the cathedral for the nativity play. Raff wasn't particularly impressed apparently and wanted to run round the cloisters with the Christmas trees. They ended up at Cosy Club having a drink.
In the meantime I stayed home and cooked a tofu paneer which we're having for tea.
As it's Saturday today I thought a silly photo would be appropriate, so here's a shot of part of the wall in Sangers, the Statue of Liberty eating a slice of pizza!
