Well, here it is…

Merry Christmas to you all and a happy and healthy 2023. I know many of you, well some of you or perhaps the odd one or two of you might just have been wondering if Susan has created a card this year.

She has, of course, and here it is. A heart warming painting of a warming Christmas scene complete with roaring wood fire (note the envy) and a couple of cats enjoying themselves.

A frenzy of cooking this afternoon, red cabbage in the slow cooker courtesy of Nogbag’s recipe, cheese and marmite sausage rolls and chocolate cookies to add to Susan’s biscotti, mince pies and salted chocolate cookies (Nigel Slater) She’s made a trifle for tomorrow when we take a Christmas tea to Doreen.

All that remains is for Susan and I to wish you all the compliments of the season and hope you all have the very best possible time tomorrow and the coming days and that Santa beings you your heart’s desire.
