Keeping Watch

A fairly quiet day today, making final preparations for our family time tomorrow. My main job was to make the Christmas pudding – which, in our house, looks suspiciously like a large lemon meringue pie.

We are looking forward to sharing Christmas Day with two of our sons, our daughter-in-law and our two youngest granddaughters. Some of them have been quite poorly recently but all are now well on the mend, for which we are so grateful.

Wishing all my lovely Blip friends a very happy day tomorrow, and thinking especially of those for whom Christmas this year will be a struggle, maybe through illness, bereavement or even strike action. 

Thank you all for welcoming me into this wonderful community so wholeheartedly, I am loving getting to know you all, you are a fantastic bunch!
