for the sheep, even though the snow is still thick on the tops of the Cairngorms. Sunlight came through at about 10.30, but contrasts between very light and very dark very pronounced at this time of year.
Lots of Ravens about, they are early nesters, starting in about February. Buzzards too were calling. Plenty of little birds in the woodland.
