London Skyline

We had a picnic today with a dozen of our friends in Brockwell Park.

We were lucky with the weather. A beautiful morning hung on until mid afternoon and although it started to rain steadily at 4 o'clock we'd finished our picnic and had a good walk round the park by then so were happy to return to our flat for tea and toasted tea cakes.

There are some stunning views from the park. This is a bit hazy but it gives a good impression of the modern City of London skyline with the Shard towering over the Gherkin and Tower 42 (the one-time Nat West Tower).
