Thought this was apt given this week's vote. I still don't understand the stooshie round it. 

The atmosphere was better today, though #1 thought he might have confused himself last night hitting his head on the wall. 

The plumber came, WH went to a meeting and Olivia and I spent about 2 hours in the pool. The sun is on a completely different trajectory from July. Spoke to the French woman from Tower C. The past time was March 2020, the last day the pool was open before Covid.

After lunch I tried to make gingerbread houses with the girls m IKEA has a lot to answer for and we don't have a piping back. Amelia died amazing manual dexterity.

Then the women went shopping to BIG, and Daiso, where 2 things for piping icing were bought and a new whisky £3.50 the lot. BIG is amazing, so much stuff from a'where. We bought Waitrose mince pies and they almost had the Christmas pudding I brought from Margiotta. Global indeed. 

It was Nandos takeaway tonight, then finishing wrapping presents, and getting things ready for Santa. Despite the protestations yesterday about KISS we bought heaps of food and I bought the wine, ouch!
