It was a very happy visit (except for poor Kate having a cold).
Phil sent us on our way with his ‘vegan wonder porridge ‘ which kept us going for most of the day.
On to phase 2 of the Xmas tour and made it to Danbury in the daylight . Great to see mum and dad on good form and we enjoyed a fine dinner followed by ‘The lady in gold’ film . Think it would have made a better documentary. Doesn’t help that my parents TV is set to soap opera mode and it’s really weird !
