Nikau berries

Three phases of Nikau berries can be seen. The pink stage is when the female flowers start developing. into fruit. The green is the stage of unripe berries, and they an tak up to 18 months to ripen. The dark red berries appear to have all been eaten leaving the grey husks of the eaten berries.
