Family fun!

After a very successful fishing trip last week, we decided to venture to a local lake and have another family fishing trip. We kicked it up a notch and rented a boat to fish in. It was an old old OLD boat with oars, but was an absolutely wonderful trip. The kids did great - the scenery was beautiful - and we even managed to catch a few fish. Tyler caught the biggest fish of us all. Mia couldn't care less about catching a fish. In fact, she didn't ask to hold the pole even once. Silly goose! She just meandered through the boat (was supposed to be sitting), trying to throw bait in the water, digging through tackle and so forth. I've decided next trip I'll have a play fishing tackle box just for her!

We returned in time for late afternoon naps and in time to gear up for Memorial Day BBQ with Dad. He showed up, complete with home made guacamole and cooked us a wonderful dinner of Rib steaks and Cheesburgers. It was very relaxed and low key, as we are still busy trying to help kelly keep those babies fed, changed and content!

Back to work tomorrow. We're hoping for a trip to our friends' house to meet their caterpillars!
