Horror story

OK - I admit it, I was struggling for a blip idea today so I decided to go out in the garden after the rain had stopped and take the blipper's desperation fall-back, the Wet Flower Blip.

The water drops on the Acer leaves were lovely but when I reviewed the pictures I thought 'this is a bit boring' so decided to have a play with it in Photoshop. This was all done in Silver Efex Pro and was really easy. I rather like the dark moody image that would not look out of place on the cover of a horror book.

I'm not expecting it to be everyone's cup of tea but it was fun.

As Bob Moore said yesterday "Photography is not about capturing what you see - but about creating art". Do you think this fits the bill?
