Humpty Dumpty

We had a walk around the walled garden at Wimpole this morning, before the rain came. It's nice to visit at different times in the season to see how things progress. It was bursting into life with the surrounding walls covered in blossom from the various apple and pear trees. The alliums were just starting to come in to flower and there were perfect rows of lettuces, which reminded me of Peter Rabbit :-) We bought some freshly cut rhubarb which will hopefully be turned into something scrummy! Watching over proceedings was this fella sat on the wall :-)
