Christmas Lights

Today I walked into town and back, to get some chocolates for Carly. I had to wait to ask her if she is eating chocolate at all now. Neil and I sat outside and had a coffee before we set off back but I was glad to be able to manage the walk.

Then we played Christmas Carols. I had enough breath for the clarinet, although when I pick it up after a gap it always takes me by surprise how much breath it needs, but my embouchure (holding the lips tight round the mouthpiece) was shot so it wasn't a very long session. I obviously need to get back in practice. It was fun though.

Now it's time for dinner and television. Hope you're all keeping well and ready for Christmas Eve.
