Walking the road, I see your eyes.
11th Day of Musical May: Lee Fields - Wish you were here.
No, this one is NOT a Pink Floyd cover, altough I spent the whole afternoon listening to them. But please, if you like soul music, just have a 'look' at this one - if I may say. I also listened to Leonard Cohen -Suzanne and Who by Fire will kill me one day- and the White Sessions of the Nationals. Yes, happy times at the library. Want melancholic music ? There you have.
Went for a quick walk to take that picture. Obviously I was not gonna upload a picture from the friends I haven't seen in ... Uh, 10 months ? Although it was tempting. Then I came out with the idea of a nice little coffee shop (other than Costa I mean) with someone sitting by himself at a table, but hey, this is Coventry, what should I expect ? And if you say: "What about Leamington ?" I'll answer "Ain't got no time for that baby !" [Yeah I know, too many voices in my head, term 3 is taking over me]
So here is the lonely bench in a see of greenness ...
And I would just add that today I magically found a postcard I wanted to send to my best friend in Mexico City but never did - because you obviously cannot trust the Mexican post. I wrote it when I was in Prague this summer and I was telling her about the light there, how it was changing every hour, how it was changing the shape of things, of buildings, of people, of all the bridges there. And in the end, with a smaller handwriting, I wrote, quoting Pink Floyd: "Oh, How I wish you were here".
Things are magical sometimes.
Clara, I miss you a lot.
