A Wholesale Soaking For The Holly Wreaths

From my last blip to today's the weather has changed utterly and completely. From being freezing cold it has now turned very mild but with frequent downpours and today was no exception. This has meant, of course, flooded roads, no more so than the main road through Aylesford. In wet weather it floods all the time and has done so for at least the last ten years yet nothing is ever done about it despite it causing massive tailbacks and endless frustration. 
It's proper British incompetence at it's world beating best - all the various authorities blame each other and no-one but no-one ever does anything to sort the bloody problem out. No wonder we are in such a mess as a country! Rant now over and relax!
Today was just the last bit of food shopping and present buying and then a really nice lunch and a pint at the Oak On The Green in Bearsted. It's a dog friendly pub and a couple of them came up to my brother for a stroke and a pat on the head.
