Goat

The first official day of the office Christmas break, and I kept the agenda very light. A walk to the shop was the main accomplishment, during which I remarked on how surprising I find it to see goats munching on the verges of major roads in Dar es Salaam, a city of 6+ million.

I almost forgot to buy some essentials for the trip I’ll do during the break because my eyes were like those cartoon dollar sign effects; except for ice cream and not dollars. Shopping for anything other than essentials can be eye-watering in Tanzania due to importation costs, so when I found sun lotion I had to spend more than I’ve ever done on a tube of it. However, one cannot put a price on one’s health.
